With a strong focus on compliance, they are looking to bring on a Compliance Manager to lead and elevate their compliance framework. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the business’s compliance standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of each loan application before submission to ensure compliance standards are met.
- Verify, review, and accurately file all necessary information, notes, and documents in alignment with compliance requirements.
- Ensure that additional due diligence steps, like employment verification, are taken by obtaining employer letters, reviewing employer websites, or making direct contact for confirmation.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to the team to strengthen compliance awareness and accountability.
About You:
- You bring at least 2 years of compliance experience within a lending environment, ideally within a mortgage brokerage.
- You have a solid understanding of NCCP legislation and AML/CTF requirements.
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement process improvements within compliance.
- Comfortable leading compliance initiatives and overseeing all compliance-related matters.
- Skilled in educating and training team members on compliance requirements.
- Able to monitor regulatory changes and ensure the company’s ongoing compliance.
- Must have full working rights in Australia with no limitations.
